IAS20 Goes Virtual
The Indian Affiliate Summit, as most other affiliate events will be entirely online this year. The whole world has been affected by the current pandemic – so it’s the only way we can all ‘get together’ and celebrate the world of affiliate marketing.
The IAS has been the leading meeting point for leaders in the Indian affiliate market since 2015. The affiliate market in India has been in growth for some time, delivering over 15% of all online sales.
This is set to accelerate over the next few years, as offline and mobile promotions grow. As is the case in other geos, programs make use of a diverse affiliate base. Cashback and Coupon is a big part of the landscape as in most places. There is also a growing sector of content marketers; and Influencer Marketing is increasing in importance.

This Year’s Speakers
Speakers include Parul Bhargava of vCommission who will give the introductory session. The team also includes Evan Weber, Channan Sawhney and Prateek Kumar and other leading figures in the industry.
Keynote speakers are still to be announced. ‘Discussion Cafe’ sessions will cover subjects such as the ‘Impact of Influencer Marketing’, ‘Fraud Detection’ and the ‘Need for Mobile Attribution’. Victoria Galperina of Supermetrics gives a session on why to set up an affiliate program in-house. Visitores can also hear from speakers from brands such as UpGrad, Bombay Shaving Company, Paisabazaar, Johnson & Johnson, Manyavar, Airtel, InMobi and GrabOn.
